Intro
Honestly, I have used so many different online drivel hosts that sometimes I think I will do something lofty and write up a review of each one. It’s not as though I feel someone else hasn’t already done that, but sometimes I just want a direct line up of statistics and abilities of these various sites, sans humor and bias. I want to look up the source code and have this information available in the comments. Pros:, Cons:, like that.
Strangely, at this point I think I want that in everyday life: available source codes. I have also wanted to “google” somebody’s location on campus. And it was at this point I realized I need to step back.
I have also at this point acquainted myself with several varieties of “community” based databases, the more notable being deviantart, the more predictable being myspace, or facebook. They’re really all the same. You craft information in slightly different ways to address the needs of the website, or the demands of your peers, or you simply make sand castles and hope someone notices.
I would like this to be the most uninhibited of my sandcastles.
